Biography

After earning a J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1971, Brian J. Stone prosecuted highly publicized organized crime and corruption cases. Although these are typically the most difficult cases to prosecute, in his ten year tenure as an organized crime and corruption prosecutor, Attorney Stone did not lose a single trial, nor were any of his convictions reversed on appeal.

Mr. Stone's entry into private practice was marked by the publication of his scholarly work in the fields of real estate law and finance in The National Law Journal. Mr. Stone is of counsel to the firm and he continues his broad-based general legal practice with significant litigation in the Federal and State Trial and Appellate Courts in the areas of personal injury, domestic relations, commercial litigation, professional malpractice and criminal law. He also practices in the fields of commercial transactions, real estate transactions and estate planning.
Attorney Stone's clients have included judges, lawyers, physicians, dentists, corporate executives and even a new-born crack baby. He has represented many civic and taxpayer organizations and numerous commercial clients, including a Fortune 100 company.
