Biography Stuart E. Kahan is a 1981 graduate of Brooklyn Law School. He is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey. Since 1981 his practice has been primarily limited to the field of insurance defense involving medical malpractice, civil rights litigation, claims against municipalities, construction litigation, products liability and insurance coverage disputes. He has also prepared and argued appeals in the Appellate Division and Court of Appeals of the State of New York. Prior to joining Oxman Tulis Kirkpatrick Whyatt & Geiger, Mr. Kahan was senior trial counsel and manager for litigation for the New York Staff Counsel of TIG Insurance Company handling cases from Kings County to Ulster County with particular emphasis on matters with potential exposure in excess of $500,000.00. |
